NeuroStar uses focused magnetic pulses, similar in strength to an MRI, to gently wake up underactive mood regions in the brain. There are no needles, no anesthesia, and no recovery time.
Step 1
We map the precise treatment spot and set your motor threshold, which takes about 60 to 90 minutes.
Step 2
Daily sessions run 5 days per week for about 6 to 7 weeks, 36 sessions in all, each about 19 minutes. You stay awake the whole time and drive yourself home afterward.
